There was a certain man in the Bible who went to Jesus and asked; 'What must i do to be saved'? People today are still asking the same question. Well, here are six steps to salvation.

ACKNOWLEDGE: Accept you are a sinner and need Jesus to come into your life; 'for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God'- (Romans 3:23)

REPENT: Repentance is a firm resolve; a decision to quit and never return to past or new sins. 'except you repent, you shall all likewise perish' (Luke 13:3). 'Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out' (Acts 3:19)

FORSAKE: A forsaking of sin involves the actual act of leaving that sin or abandoning it; after..
making the decision to repent of it. 'let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto the Lord...for He will abundantly pardon (Isaiah 55:7)

CONFESS: It has been written in scripture 'for by your words, you will be justified and by your words, you will be condemned' (Mathew 2:37) There is power in the words of our mouth. Let us then confess the truth for ' if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us, if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just too forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness' (1 John 1:8-9)

BELIEVE: Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died and rose for our sins. 'for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life' (John3:16). 'but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have Life in His name' (John 20:31)

RECIEVE: Once we have repented and confessed our sins, and been baptized in Christ Jesus; then as the Lord promised, we would receive the Holy spirit and begin to operate in the power of the spirit. 'but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth. (Acts1:8)
